RACE INFORMATION: UPDATED MARCH 6, 2023
Where:  Natelli Family YMCA, 3481 Campus Dr., Ijamsville, MD  21754
In-Person Race:  Saturday, March 11, 2023.  One mile race starts at 9:00am.   5k and 10K start approximately 9:20am. 
Virtual Race:  Friday, March 10, 2023 at 6:00am through Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 5:00pm.  Run/Walk anywhere between these days/times and record through the Race Joy app (available for virtual race only) or manually.  See instructions below.
PARKING
Please park in the YMCA parking lot at the end of the lot, Urbana High School lot closest to the YMCA or Urbana Middle School closest to the YMCA property. Cones will be set up to direct you around the parking lot in order to keep some of the road clear for runners.  Please pay attention to partial road closing or lane shifts.  Campus Drive will be monitored by Flagger Force.
Same Day Registration and Pack Pickup: Please go inside the YMCA to Community Room A from the Pool side of the building.  Restrooms are available in the lobby area (2 universal restrooms and the youth male and female locker rooms).  Volunteers will be there to direct you
STROLLERS- Strollers are allowed on the course.  You do not have to register any child for the race if they are going to be in a stroller.

RACE SHIRTS-  RACE SHIRTS ARE SOLD OUT
All participants that register prior to February 10, 2023, will receive a race shirt with their desired size.  After February 10, 2023 race shirts are first come first serve until the supply runs out.  An alternate give away will be given to youth 4 years and younger that are registered for the race.
Race shirts are first come first serve.  When registering, please enter your correct size.  If your size is not available you will be alerted to choose another size or “no shirt”. Shirts can not be exchanged for a different size.
PACKET PICK UP
Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Natelli Family YMCA Community Room A: 5pm – 8pm
Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Natelli Family YMCA  Community Room A: 9:00am – 8:00pm
Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the in-person race site (Natelli Family YMCA) starting at 7:00am  (Packet pick up will be inside the YMCA in Community Room A)
RACE DAY SCHEDULE

9:00 am – One Mile Run/Walk
9:20am – 5K and 10K run
Everyone receives a finisher medal
AWARDS:
Medals for overall Male and Female for both the 5K and 10K runners.  Medals for first place runners in each age group, male and female.  Age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
DOWNLOAD RACEJOY APP
FOR THE VIRTUAL RACES: Download the RACEJOY app to your Android or Apple device if you are participating in the virtual race.  The app is a great tool to keep you motivated and have fun with your race.  It will provide timing, announcements, and a great group of people cheering you on as you complete your race!! Using the app will seem like you are participating in a live race!!
Each Mile marker will provide participant time, estimated time of finish, pace, etc. 
When you log into RaceJoy and complete the set-up to be tracked, you will have to enter your BIB number or Name.  BIB numbers are provided in the registration confirmation email.  It will be in the body of the email along with in the attached pdf document in the same email.  If you are unable to locate the email, you can log into RunSignUp and under Profile, they can find this race and get the BIB number.
BIBS
In-Person participants will receive a paper bib at packet pick-up.
Virtual participants will receive a digital bib (downloadable).  An email confirmation will be sent to virtual runners with instructions on downloading and printing your bib. (See note above)
