The Westford Turkey Trot is an annual road race on beautiful country dirt roads.  This race dates back to the 90s and has historically raised money to support the children and families of Westford.  All proceeds continue to benefit this cause.  Your race fee will go towards supporting the Annual Westford Town Library Baby Tea, Scholarships, holiday baskets, and grocery gift cards for families in need. This year’s event will occur on Saturday, November 23rd at Westford Elementary School, 146 Brookside Road Westford, VT.  Pre-register for this event by October 1st to receive a FREE Event Shirt!Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup in the Gym from 8:30-9:30am.  The Tot trot will begin at 9:45am in the driveway, where spectators and runners line the driveway to cheer on the tots.  The 10K and 3K Races start will be at 10am.  Racers will line up on Brookside Road, just beyond the school drive entrance.3K Course (1.71mi.): 146 Brookside Road, Right onto Common Road, turn around at Park & Ride at the end of Common Road, Left onto Brookside Road, Left at 146 Brookside Road, & FINISH @ Westford School Entrance 10K Course (6.1mi.):  146 Brookside Road, Right onto Common Road, turn around in front of 16 Common Road, Left onto Brookside Road, Right on Maple Tree Lane, Left on Woods Hollow Road, Left on Phelps Road, Left on Brookside Road, Right at 146 Brookside Road, & FINISH @ Westford School EntrancePost-race concessions will be available for purchase in the gym, hosted by the Westford Common Hall.  After the last runner finishes, we’ll announce the race winners (around 11:45am), and award raffle prizes.   All participants are entered into the raffle.
