Veterans Marathon and Heroes 5K
The Bird Family proudly hosts the Veterans Marathon, an event honoring our nation’s veterans in Columbia City, Indiana, with deep-rooted community values. Participants can expect a memorable race through gentle, rolling countryside, with flags waving in honor of servicemen and women. The Space Force and Columbia City Fire Department are specially recognized this year. A team challenge occurs in the Heroes 5K, where teams compete for hero-themed awards. Post-race festivities include free soup and refreshments for all participants, with unique awards, crafted from local Indiana limestone, available at the designated awards table.
