Tri-Cities Marathon

Join us for a Marathon in Tri-Cities, Washington that is a 26.2 Boston marathon qualifier. This autumn run begins at Richland’s Riverfront Hotel and takes you on a scenic riverfront course along the Columbia River.  What a great way to run through all three cities in our own little metropolitan in Eastern Washington.
This Marathon is presented by 3 Rivers Road Runners (3RRR) and our sponsors, including Fleet Feet Tri-Cities and Larsen Transfer. 
Distances :  Marathon 26.2 miles, Half marathon 13.1
Location/Date/ Race Start and Finish
Sunday October 29, 2023 start at 7:30am. Course closes at 1:30pm
The start and finish line is located at the south entrance of the Riverfront Hotel 50 Comstock Street Richland, WA 99352
Parking is generous throughout the side and back section of the hotel. There is also parking at the community center at Howard Amon Park which is a short walk to the Hotel. 
Course Details and Aid Stations
Start is located on Bradley Blvd at the South entrance to the Riverfront Hotel. Aid Stations will be every 3 Miles or 5K markers. 5k is past electric pole 4550-15A on Court Street in Pasco. 10k is on the bike/run path before the west side of the grey house (804 N Rd. 62) before the Rd 60 access path15k is on the bike/run from the edge of Columbia Park TrailTurnaround is on Columbia Park Trail 10′ after the East edge of the basketball court20k is on the bike/run path before the third light pole (of four) where the path merges with Columbia Park Trail25k is on the bike/run path before the trash receptacle just before the cable bridge30k is on the bike/run path past the park bench that is after the park bench in honor of the Grant Family in Wade Park35k is on the bike/run path before electric pole 0941 just before access road to the boat ramp in Chiawana Park40k is on the bike/run path after path double back and turns after crossing I-182 bridge back into RichlandFinish is on the South parking lot a the Riverfront Hotel
Marathon Relay 
The first runner will need to arrive at the start line in plenty of time to park the car, warm-up, check in gear, etc.
All other relay runners will need to be at their designated relay exchange areas in plenty of time. Transportation is not provided to each exchange point, it is the responsibility of each runner to be on time and ready to run the next leg of the relay.
Relay Exchange points for the 4 person marathon relay are every 10km. For safety those exchange points will be at the aid stations.   
Relay Exchange 1 is on the bike/run path before the west side of the grey house (804 N. Rd 62) before the Rd 60 access path. Relay Exchange 2 is on the bike/run path before the third light pole (of four) where the path merges with Columbia Park Trail after the Turn AroundRelay Exchange 3 is on the bike/run path past the park bench that is after the park bench in honor of the Grant Family in Wade Park.

3-Person Relay exchanges are every 15km. For safety those exchange points will be at the aid stations. Relay Exchange signs will be posted at those aid stations.

Registration/Packet Pick Up
Fleet Feet 620 George Washington Way Richland in courtyard on Friday October 27th at 5-6pm and Saturday October 28th at 4pm-6pm and again on race morning starting at 6:30 am.  We will be using the RunSignUp phone app to get you late registered, so bring your phone and credit card.THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR DEFERRALS.

Timing 
Timing will be by chip.  There will be mats for timing at the start and finish. The timing chips are on the back of your bib number.  Be sure the bib number is worn on the front of your upper torso and is not obstructed by clothing in order to get accurate times.
AWARDS
Finisher medals for each runner who completes their event.  OVERALL top three female and male finishers for each distance..
RACE RESULTS:  
Chip timing for all races by Negative Split Timing. Wear your bib visibly on your front. Results at nsplit.com/results live and after the race.

Come join us on July 4, 2026 at Lake Perris Dam Perris Ca to celebrate our 1st Annual Independence Day Run.  Event details and scheduleMoreno Valley Road Runners Club will be celebrating our 1st Annual Independence fun run at Lake Perris State Recreation Area Dam 17801 Lake Perris Drive Perris, Ca 92571. On July 4, 2026, at 7:30 am. What: Don’t miss Southern California’s best fun run tradition! There will be a 1-mile kids race (ages 12 and under) and adorable little Trotters run (ages 3 and under). Everyone is welcome! Where: Enjoy a historic course along the Dam, referred to as The Lake Perris Dam. You’ll pass by such a notable lake. What a great way to see the beautiful lake in the morning. Course: The race starts and finishes at the Dam. This is a flat long course with no traffic. When: July 4, 2026. Packet picks up open at 7:30 Am.  Race Start Times:The little trotters run starts at 8:00 AM, The kid’s 1-mile race starts at 8:15 AM, the 5K and 10K start at 8:30 AM. Awards: Top 3 boys and girls in the 1-mile race, Top 3 open Males and Females in the 5K and 10K cash price.  Top 3 cash price in the 5K $100, $75 and $50. Top 3 cash price in the 10K, $200, $175 and $150.  Giving away: Medals to all participants and 50 first sign-ups will get a t-shirt. Fees: Little trotters are free (ages 3 and under), the kid’s 1-mile race is $5.00, the 5K race is $20.00, 10K is $25.00. All fees are the same on race day. ABOUT THIS EVENTThe 5k course is on flat, paved roads in Kerkhoven. The 10k course is mostly paved roads with about 1.5 miles of mowed grass on the golf course. There is also a short distance of gravel road. Water stops every couple of miles. After the run, there will be children’s games and a children’s tractor pull, a flea market, firemen’s feed, kiddie rides, swimming and a parade, all part of the annual Kerkhoven Town and Country Days.Please feel free to stay and enjoy the day.
