The Pow Wow Days races are part of the Independence Day celebrations in Tomahawk, held beginning at Veterans Memorial Park along the beautiful Wisconsin River. Runners can enjoy scenic courses, including routes alongside the river, historic landmarks, and local schools. Participants of all ages are welcome, with age group awards available. Over previous years, around 600-700 runners have participated. The event features a “Most Patriotic” costume contest with prizes, and refreshment stations provided by Northwoods Vineyard Church. New changes include no formal awards ceremony, with prizes available at the gazebo after the race.
