Celebrate the holiday season in Thompson Park with either a 10K, 5K, & Youth races.  Join us on the weekend before Christmas and run on a beautiful, well-marked, and supported course…. even better, bring the kids and have them run their race as well. Everyone gets a technical T-shirt and big and beautiful finisher medal. Then, once most of the athletes have finished the course, we’ll hold an awards ceremony to celebrate the top three overall fastest runners in each gender and then each age-group. The kids/youth race is on several distances so that each age group can experience the beauty and excitement of running and racing. We’re excited to hold this 2nd annual race and look forward to making it the best 5K  & 10K to celebrate the holiday season in NJ. Baggage Check-in starts at 9:00 am. Your bib will have a tear off tag that you will pin to your personal bag. You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from secure area. 5K & 10K Race Start: 9:30 AM Splits per loop and finish time are LIVE (www.citytri.com/results) Youth Races Start: 11:00 AM Post Race Celebration! Bagels, fruits and drinks! Awards Ceremony: As soon as top 3 overall finished we will held the ceremony. For the age groups as soon as top 3 finish.   Enjoy taking memorable pictures on our podium and commemorative race banner!    Goodie bag: You will receive a full color Technical t-shirt. A commemorative finishers medal that you will love.  Post race party: Includes fresh bagels and flavored cheese spreads, nutella and organic jelly. Fruits are usually bananas and apples. Depending on the weather we will offer hot chocolate or apple cider. Timing & Race Tracking: Electronic timing with splits per loop. Results are uploaded live. Finish line photos and video will be available on the results page. Bibs must be visible and wear on the front! RACE TRACKING – Digital map with live representation of your progress. Can be seen by anyone…just use RaceMap .    Awards: Medals to all finishers. Plaque awards will be given to top three male and female runners. Age group awards will be awarded to the top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups of 5: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and over.
