At Mile 10, the paths diverge: half marathoners head east towards the waterfront finish, while marathoners journey west to complete their distance before returning to the finish line by the water.St. Petersburg Marathon stands out as the first-ever 26.2-mile race set entirely within the city, holding USATF certification, making it a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
