Join the annual Sri Chinmoy Thanksgiving Day event featuring a scenic loop around Flushing Meadows Park. Enjoy a USATF certified course while supporting the park, as a portion of the proceeds benefit Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Sponsored by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team and NYC Parks Department, the event offers free parking, bag check, aid stations, and a post-race pancake breakfast. Participants receive custom race hats and medals, and there’s a fun run for kids. All races culminate with a festive awards ceremony. In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, the race will proceed virtually, with giveaways and medals sent to participants.
