Sea Rim Striders’ 2024 Turkey Trot 5K/10K/Kids K34rd Annual 
The Sea Rim Striders Run Club is an all-volunteer incorporated 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization that has been in existence since the 1970’s!   We support, encourage, and promote running and walking at all levels to increase health and fitness awareness, as well as giving back to our community.Everything we do throughout the year is free and open to the public except the Turkey Trot event, as it is our signature fundraiser event of the year.
We work hard behind the scenes to bring you this awesome Annual race.  Join us as we host this holiday tradition, right here in Beaumont, Texas at The Event Centre on Thanksgiving Morning!

***please note:  SRS has no control over the final amount and content of photos taken.  Our photographers VOLUNTEER to help capture memories on a HOLIDAY race day.   If you’d like to volunteer to take photos on race day, we would LOVE to have you!!  Please message the race director at [email protected] to sign up to volunteer.   Stations for photographers are:  start line, finish line, on-course, announcements/warmups, on-stage awards, and  misc. photos required by sponsors/SRS. 
Kids KTurkey will run with the Kids K participants!
COURSE:
Course is through downtown Beaumont.
******as of 8/6/2024 at 1:16pm, the course may not be certified.  Due to a historic building fire, 2 blocks will be closed down temporarily, possibly affecting the course route.  We will aim to get a new course route created, and as close to official race distance, as possible!***
The 5K course is USATF Certified:   #TX18079LAB 
The 10K course is USATF Certified: #TX18080LAB
There will not be Course Records awarded this year if the course route is altered.

RACE DAY
PLEASE COME PICK UP YOUR PACKETS ON WEDNESDAY 11/27 PACKET PICKUP DAY TO AVOID DELAYS ON RACE MORNING! 
Race Morning packet pickup will be available 6am-7am.  Announcements start promptly at 7.  Packet pickup volunteers need to get ready for their run/walk and attend announcements.

MEDAL MONDAY AND COSTUME CONTEST!   12/2 – 12/4*winners announced on Facebook 12/5
—Medal Monday contest — show us the finisher medals that you earned! *post your photo comment.  Ask your friends/family to go like your photo. The photo comment with the most likes will win.
—Costume Contest — Get creative and wear your Turkey Trot spirit!  When we post the costume contest, comment with your 2024 Turkey Trot costume photo from your run.  The SRS Board members will choose the winner!
