Rotary E-Run

The Rotary E-Run connects runners across the world to compete or, more importantly, simply to have fun running for a charitable cause. There are no borders to this virtual run. Everyone can to take part – at any time of the day, on everyone’s favourite track and regardless of pace. It’s all about the noble cause!This year’s edition of the Rotary E-Run takes place from 29 November to 12 December 2021. Registration is now open!Service ProjectJust like so many good deeds that refer to the legend of St. Nicholas of Myra, we want to support every year a different charitable project. This year we have decided to pass on all donations to this international service project: Mumbai, India – marginalised girls and boys. For years, Renate Menneke, an artist from Bad Camberg, has been dedicating her entire artistic creativity to the support of marginalised street kids in India. Through the German charitable organisation Hoffnung Kindheit e.V. she donates the proceeds to a Christian organisation in India that helps child prostitutes in Mumbai (Bombay). The organisation rescues these children from the world of prostitution and places them in new families, gives them medical and psychological treatment, ensures that they have clothing and food and gives them the opportunity to go to school.For more details on the project: https://youtu.be/tIFHUs0-bxA
