Looking for some spooky Halloween fun? Join us for the 9th annual Queen City Trick or Trot family friendly, fun, and festive 5k Run & Walk on Saturday, October 26th. NEW THIS YEAR! Super excited to announce the addition of the Queen City Trick or Trot 10K Run/Walk to this years event. The Trick or Trot 10K also serves as the UP 10K Championship and participation adds 20 BONUS points to your point total for racers who have signed up for the 2024 UP Race Series!! We can’t forget about the little ghouls and goblins, the Kids Monster Mile will make its return this year! All Participants will receive a Medal, Giveaway from Donckers, and a Giveaway from Provisions. MQT Nutrition will also be contributing to the awards! We are super excited to have multiple local businesses working with us in collaboration for this event to bring you an amazing Halloween race experience! 
The 5K and 10K races begin on Spring Street (In front of Ore Dock Brewing Co.), runners will run straight down to Lakeshore BLVD bike path and head south towards Harvey. The 5K turnaround will be indicated with signage, and will be located just before the Carp River. The 10K turnaround will be located just before the welcome center. There will be an aid station for the 10K that will be at the turnaround point (a little over half way). The Kids Monster Mile will begin on the bike path (In front of the Thill’s Parking Lot that coincides with the Old Ore Dock), and will head north on the bike path, turning around just after the entrance to lower harbor park. 
The post race party and awards ceremony will be held at Ore Dock Brewing Company from 10:30am-1pm. The overall Male and Female Winners in the 5K and 10K will receive a FREE pair of shoes from QCRC, there will also be age groups awards for both events! Halloween is everyone’s excuse to dress up! Be sure to get your most creative Halloween costume out for a chance to win a prize in our famous costume contest! The costume contest will be judged in two ways:
1: Individuals (1st place $50 Gift Certificates to QCRC, 2nd and 3rd place $25 Gift Certificates to QCRC) 
2: Pairs/Family: (1st place $50 Gift Certificates to QCRC, 2nd and 3rd place $25 Gift Certificates to QCRC)

Age Group awards will be as Follows: 
Kids Monster Mile:  12 and Under (1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place)
10K: Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) 
5K: Winner in each age bracket (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) 
The awards ceremony will begin between 12-12:15pm
