Beginning in the historic Plaza Mayor, the Lima Half Marathon is the oldest half-marathon in America and probably in the world. It will take you on a journey through time as you traverse the city, culminating at the Circuito Mágico del Agua. Along the route, you will be treated to a variety of musical, circus and sports performances. The race will kick off at 8:00am, but you may warm up from 6:30am. There is an 87m elevation gain over the course, making it a flat ocean-level trail. If you book your spot for the Lima Marathon through World’s Marathons, you will receive an invitation to train with the Peru Runners team before the race, as well as a prime start position.
