The Losinj Half Marathon is a race that takes place on the Croatian island of Lošinj in the northern Adriatic Sea. Its mild climate and abundant sunshine make it an ideal autumn destination for visitors from countries with less ideal weather. But this island has more to offer than just its sunshine. It has been inhabited since prehistoric times, and its first settlers from the mainland arrived in 1280. Visitors can reach the island by ferry or by plane, as there is a small airport. The race begins at Veli center, and proceeds on the main road to the intersection of Čikat and Mali Lošinj. It continues on Veloselska ulica until the Kadin area, Los. Brodograditelja street and Riva Lošinjskih Kapetana street, until the center of Mali Losinj. Runners then take Ulicom Priko do Velopina street, passing by Velopina and A/C Čikat, and along the seafront until A/C Čikat, Sunčana uvala, and Borik. They proceed on the main road until the intersection Dražice, then take a right onto the main road until the junction in direction Veli Losinj, with the finish line in Veli Losinj.The Apoksiomen Cup starts from the sandy beach in Čikat Bay to the Sunčana uvala bay, Borik. Runners then take the main road to the Dražice junction, then turn right until the junction for Veli Losinj, and finish in Veli Lošinj. A bus transfer from Veli Losinj city center to the starting point is provided 45 minutes prior to the start of the race.The City Race of 5000m begins in Veli Losinj center, then takes the main road in direction to the intersection for Čikat, roundabout, and way down in direction of the Valdarke
