Hillacious Half Marathon
The H ½ race celebrates and honors military service, acknowledging their significant sacrifices. Emphasizing toughness, the course mirrors the challenging nature of military roles. This no-frills event demands determination and grit, offering personal satisfaction over prize money. Proceeds support local military families in need, with funds not distributed through outside agencies. Top male and female finishers gain their names on perpetual trophies displayed at the Morgan-Weir American Legion Post 27. Participants can purchase engraved dog tags to honor active or veteran service members, used for motivation through the course. The event currently awards prizes only to male and female categories.
