Athletes, get ready for the Hafkamp Groenewegen Ronde Venen Marathon, a truly distinctive running event organized by the De Ronde Venen Marathon Foundation. This marathon kicks off and concludes in the heart of Abcoude, offering a route that takes you through all eight villages of the De Ronde Venen municipality. Just 3 km south of Amsterdam, Abcoude can be easily reached via public transport. Experience an engaging and diverse racecourse that leads you along rivers, through a cattle farm, over a former railway line, across meadows, and into the Botshol nature reserve. Choose your challenge from three race options: the full marathon, the duo marathon—where two athletes can alternate running and cycling—and the 10 km race. With a cap of 1,500 participants, spots are limited to 600 individual marathoners, 300 duo teams, and 300 for the 10 km. Secure your place swiftly and prepare for a memorable competition!
