RACE DAY INFORMATION:
**PICK UP YOUR RACE BIB AT BEAVER ISLAND STATE PARK ON FRIDAY SEPT 29 STARTING AT 4:30PM.   ( RACE DAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL 5:15PM ON RUN SIGN UP. )
**WARM-UP AND HEAD TO THE STARTING LINE FOR A 5:30PM START. **RUN YOUR RACE AND THEN ENJOY THE POST RACE PIZZA, CAKE,  ICE CREAM AND MORE IN THE START/FINISH AREA. AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED AT 7PM.
Race Location:  The start/finish line is in the main parking lot at Beaver Island State Park, 2136 Oakfield Rd, Grand Island, NY 14072
Directions: Take the Beaver Island Exit off I-190 and follow the signs to Beaver Island State Park.  Enter the Park at the main entrance  and follow the signs/arrows to the main parking lot. ***Parking is free.  
***For those traveling to Beaver Island from the South Grand Island Bridge, the Beaver Island exit is closed to 190 North bound traffic.  You will need to go one more exit and then double back toward the Beaver island exit. 
Hydration: There are 3 water/gatorade stations, at approximately miles 1, 3 and 5.  
Rest rooms:   The Park bathrooms located near the main parking lot will  be open.  During your race, look for portable toilets in the parking areas along the course at approximately miles 1  and 5.
Spectators may  park in the main  lot. Another option is to watch the race from the West River Overlook at Fix Rd. This is at mile 3  of the course. 
Post race snacks and awards will be held in the start/finish area.
RACE AND AWARD DETAILS:
The race begins and ends in Beaver Island State Park, Grand Island, NY (between Buffalo and Niagara Falls). The course is a flat, out and back, along the scenic Niagara river.  
Race awards to Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female winners and 19 and under Male/Female winners. Age group awards to first 3 finishers in 5-year age groups up to 80+ years old.
Runners who break the event record for their respective division (19 and under, open and masters divisions) will receive 100% of their entry fee refunded after the race!!  (The early entry fee of $30 will be refunded)

On Sept 29, the sun will set at 7:01PM. Race entrants should be able to finish the 6.2 miles within 90 minutes. Awards will be presented at 7PM.
