IntroductionThe Falling Waters 5K Classic Race is still on for Saturday September 18, 2021!! Registration starts at 7am and the race will start at 8am sharp. The course is scenic with rolling hills and lakes for your viewing pleasure. We will still be awarding finishing medals and T-shirts for all participants. This year we will still have the 5K Run and Walk option along with a 10K run option as well. To complete the 10K course, runners will be doing an extra loop for the course. Participants are more than welcome to walk the 5K, run the 5k or run/walk the 5K. Because we have to close the roads for the event, it is the committees request that the 10K participants run or Run/walk the course which is interval run walking. We request that walk only participants sign up for the 5K option. If you have any questions feel free to contact me via email. The Winimac Auto Club will be present to put on a car show after the race. Please come out and join us for this event!

The Molley Lanham Foundation Inc. was founded to provide a healing space for those suffering from homicide loss. After 19-year old Molley Lanham was murdered, the family was left to grieve and navigate the criminal justice system alone. Support is key to healing, and homicide grief support is missing in our region. The Foundation intends to provide judgment-free, compassionate support to others who are suffering from homicide loss while sharing our loved one’s stories.

Age Groups & PrizesAward Ceremony to follow the event.Age Groups: under 10, 10-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, over 60
The top 3 male and top 3 female finishers overall will receive a Monetary Prize and Victory Medal.1st place finish for male and female for their age group for the 5K and 10K will receive a Victory Medal.All other participants will receive a commemorative medal for finishing the race.All participants will receive a T Shirt at the time of the packet pickup before the race.  (Registration after 9/11/2021, we can not guarantee a t-shirt will be received)
After the race, prizes donated by our sponsors and will be raffled off. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing.
Fleet Feet Sports in Schererville will be using this race as their goal race for their upcoming 5K and 10K training program this summer. This training program is a great opportunity to help prepare for this race. This training program will begin in June. Training runs will be at 9 am Saturday mornings and 6:15 pm Thursday afternoons.
