The Dallas Running Club (DRC) was established in 1969 by Tal Morrison, fostering a community dedicated to endurance sports. This grassroots organization offers a variety of races throughout the year, including two key events that support the Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund, aimed at supporting students participating in school cross-country programs. The DRC thrives on the dedication of its volunteers and continues to celebrate the runners and trails at White Rock Lake. Participants receive a race shirt and finisher’s medal, with safety and enjoyment being paramount. Unfortunately, entry fees are non-refundable, maintaining flexibility for transfers or donations.
