This race is open to all runners to compete, fitness enthusiasts and anyone wanting to just have fun. In the spirit of fun competition and to promote good health and physical development, this race is open to athletes of all abilities.

With terrain features that draw the admiration of the most experienced competitor, this race includes all the geographical challenges of a course on the coast. Combining open river views with Spanish moss laden shady oaks that wave gently in the coastal breeze, runners will enjoy the historical beauty and charm of the Charleston river port community as they enjoy the fun and competition that symbolizes the spirit of the South Carolina Military Appreciation Festival.
