Black Bridge Backroad Boogie

OVERVIEW
Dime Box Lions Club invites you to attend the Black Bridge Backroad Boogie (formerly Black Bridge Mini-Marathon).  The Backroad Boogie is a 10K, 5K, 2M Run and 2M Walk held annually in Dime Box, Texas.  The races are ‘out-and-back’ USATF certified courses of tree-lined, asphalt roads in a beautiful rural area with water stations along the route and Gatorade and water after the race.
The Backroad Boogie kicks off the annual Black Bridge Festival on the first Saturday in October.  All proceeds from the race and Oktoberfest-themed festival benefit the Dime Box Lions Club Foundation for youth education scholarships, service projects in the community, and support of the Black Bridge Park.  The Black Bridge Festival runs throughout the day and includes a BBQ cook-off & auction, a kids BBQ cook-off & auction, a parade, raffles, live music, food  and vendor booths, and more.
Join us for pre-festival activities the Friday night before the festival in downtown Dime Box with music and a street dance, a free-will donation sausage ‘n kraut dinner, domino tournament, and a Little Miss/Mr. pageant.  Follow the Dime Box Lions Club website at https://e-clubhouse.org/sites/dime_box/ for upcoming festival information, times, and updates.
Goodie bags are provided to each racer during in person check-in (details below).  Goodie bags include bling and candy, a Black Bridge festival t-shirt, and two $5 Boogie Buck coupons redeemable for drinks, food, or other purchases during the Black Bridge Festival.
Racers are welcome to enter a post-race raffle during race check-in.  Be sure to capture your race day fun at our selfie booth, located near the registration area.
Please note:
All registrations must be made online.  No paper registrations will be accepted.
No money will be accepted on race day for late entries.  Anyone wishing to register on race day will need to register via personal computer or cell phone by 8AM Saturday morning.
