RAH! is an uplifting event that blends community spirit with the fight against hunger, set in the picturesque Ardmore neighborhood of Winston-Salem. Enthusiasts of all athletic abilities are welcome to partake in the event, held each October. The initiative centers around the Run Against Hunger, benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, aiding food-insecure families. Participants can join in various activities either in person or virtually. Pets are not allowed, and race day parking is suggested at nearby churches. Originating in 2001, the event has expanded significantly, substantially contributing to combat hunger through the years.
