Come experience historic Sault Sainte Marie by running or walking a 5k or 10k spanning all 7 bridges that connect the downtown island area. Then, enjoy some brews at Bird’s Eye Outfitters at the official ISLAND THEMED post-race party including live entertainment and a costume contest.  Big Buck Brewery will be in town as our brew sponsor to add to your enjoyment with their tantalizing selection of 7 brews!  Proceeds benefit OUT House Consortium, a non-profit organization, to develop, maintain and promote the non-motorized trail systems in the Sault Sainte Marie area.  A donation button is available for anyone who is or is not partaking in the run or walk but still want to support the improvement of our recreation trails.
The 7 Bridges 7 Brews 5k Run/Walk and 10k Run will begin at 7:00pm on Portage Avenue near the intersection of Peck Street and finishes downtown at Bird’s Eye Outfitters about 1  mile away.  Plan accordingly as there is parking downtown and near the start area along the Ashmun Bay Boat Launch.
Packet pickup and race day registration will be available at Bird’s Eye Outfitters on Friday, July 21st from 5-8pm and on Race Day from 4:00pm-6:30pm.  We will send an email out to all registered participants when closer.
There will be awards to male and female finishers in various age categories.  Overall awards can be picked up in a designated location after official results have posted.  Results will be chip timed with a gun start.  Results will be posted on superiortiming.com.  All participants will receive a t-shirt*, medal, drink token, and invite to the post race party.  There will be an ISLAND THEMED costume contest, live entertainment, and food and drinks for purchase. Not to mention 7 of the best beers from Big Buck Brewery!  
*for participants that sign up on or after 7/14/2023, t-shirts will be available while supplies last at check in, but t-shirts will be provided to all participants at a later date if additional t-shirts are needed to be ordered.  These shirts will be available for pickup at Bird’s Eye Outfitters once delivered or delivered to participant for a small shipping fee. Virtual participants will be expected to pay for shipping for race packets.
