TracN4 Elands Marathon

Mpumalanga’s most scenic Two Oceans Marathon and Comrades Marathon qualifier – the TRACN4 Elands Marathon is backed by Trans African Concessions (TRAC) and presented by the Nedbank Running Club Mpumalanga LVCC. This 42.2km road race is run on the N4 Toll Route.The race starts at Laerskool Oosterlijn in Emgwenya (Waterval Boven), with the route taking runners down Elands Valley and through the Waterval Boven tunnel to the finish line at the Sappi Skills Training Centre in Ngodwana. The 2024 event is sure to be even bigger and better! Not only are the organizers anticipating a larger field (approximately 5 000 runners), they are also expecting that the race will attract the country’s elite road runners. This will ensure a highly competitive event for the more serious runners who are aiming to do big things at the 2025 Comrades Marathon.Besides the full marathon, the 2024 TRACN4 Elands Marathon will also include two other road races – a half marathon (21.1km) and a 10km race. These are also expected to attract top-class athletes and road-running aficionados.
