The iconic Silverstone Formula One circuit holds a legendary position in motor racing history. The “Home of British Motor Racing” hosted the first-ever World Championship Grand Prix in May 1950, and has also witnessed seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton’s nine astonishing British Grand Prix wins.
Now it’s your chance to race on the very same circuit.
The Silverstone Run Fest will see runners tread the free-flowing tarmac that features famous corners like Maggots, Becketts, and Chapel. Runners of all abilities are welcome and can choose a Half Marathon, a 10K, 5K, or the Family Mile. Experience the adrenaline rush of stepping onto the same track as racing legends like Hamilton, Schumacher, and Senna.
Located in the heart of England, Silverstone is easily accessible by car, bus, and train. Accommodation options are plentiful, ranging from accessible hotel chains to cosy bed and breakfasts in nearby villages. On-site, F1 fans can immerse themselves in the Silverstone Experience Museum and enjoy a guided tour of the famous circuit. The surrounding area also boasts many attractions, including the famous Bletchley Park (the site of British codebreaking during World War II), the magnificent Stowe House, and the birthplace of Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace.
