WHY WE RUN
Join us to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston! Founded in 1978, the mission of RMHC Greater Houston  is to offer a home away from home providing care, compassion, and hope to families with seriously ill children being treated in Texas Medical Center member institutions. The House provides a place to find rest and respite, activities, meals, and snacks for our families, at no cost.
In addition to our Houses, RMHC Greater Houston also has a CareMobile that goes to local communities to provide immunizations and well checks for school aged children.
We serve children and families at four locations:
Holcombe House – 70 Bedrooms
Texas Children’s Hospital – 19 Bedrooms
Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital – 20 Bedrooms
MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital – 2 Bedrooms

5K/10K RUN & WALK | DECEMBER 7, 2024 | SAM HOUSTON PARK
USATF-certified 10K and 5K run/walk/roll
Competitive runners, fun runners and walkers, families with children, and dogs are welcome!
All registered participants will receive a finisher medal, event t-shirt, and other great SWAG generously donated by our sponsors.
100% of the proceeds benefit the children and families of RMH Houston.
Up to $150,000 will be generously matched, dollar for dollar, by the Trafigura Foundation!
Pricing Schedule
Early Bird Pricing – $35 per person through August 4, 2024
Open Registration Pricing – $40 per person August 5, 2024 through November 8, 2024
Last Call Pricing – $45 per person November 9, 2024 through December 7, 2024
