Polish Independence 10K/5K Run/Walk
The Polish Independence Run/Walk celebrates Poland’s regained independence. Hosted annually in Chicago by WPNA 103.1 FM, the event features a scenic, USATF-certified, chip-timed course along Lake Michigan starting at Montrose Harbor. Participants receive a finisher’s medal, event T-shirt, and lunch. Open to all ages, the event encourages group participation and offers discounts for kids and groups over ten. Packet pick-up is available before the event at the WPNA FM station. Though chip timing is available for most participants, it is not guaranteed for day-of registrants, and the walk is not timed.
