Lanzhou International Marathon

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lanzhou International Marathon has been POSTPONED. The event has been awarded as China’s “Best Marathon” and “Marathon Gold Label Race” by the Chinese Athletics Association and has become one of the National Scoring Races. The race is designed along the Yellow River line, with beautiful natural scenery and mountain and waters along the way. It is a unique race in Northwest China, combining the Marathon spirit (challenging oneself, going beyond limits, perseverance, never giving up) and Yellow River Culture. The race has brought many benefits, such as promoting the city’s image and influence, exhibiting the scenery charm of the Yellow River and Lanzhou’s City, stimulating citizens’ sense of pride and honor, accumulating various economic elements, and developing the race social awareness. It has also caused a lot of discussion from the media, citizens, and netizens.
