Lafayette General Zydeco Marathon
The Ochsner Lafayette General Zydeco Marathon and Half Marathon offer USATF certified courses that serve as qualifiers for major marathons. Participants experience a safe and memorable race with well-marked routes and staffed hydration stations. The event is carefully planned with medical staff ready at the finish line. Runners receive a race bib, race shirt, finisher’s medal, and enjoy food, drinks, and music at the finish line festival. The race caters to participants of varying ages and offers several distance options, managed by chip timing. Registration and packet pickup adhere to specific deadlines, and there is no race day registration.
