Kalmar Sylvesterloppet

The Kalmar Sylvesterloppet is a classic running event. Last year, over 1150 participants registered and it became the second biggest New Year’s Eve race in Sweden. The run starts at Fredriksskans in Kalmar, and the track goes around the scenic Malmfjärden, which is flat and easy to run. Those running the 5 km will only have to complete one lap, while those in the 10 km category will have to finish two. Both end at Fredriksskans.
