Freedom Run – Deforest
The Freedom Run is a community-focused running event traditionally held on the Fourth of July, offering a variety of participation options, including a virtual event. Proceeds benefit the DeForest Area Needs Network and local high school track and cross country programs. The event is supported by several sponsors, most notably DMB Community Bank, alongside DeForest Running Santas, Noble Choice Chiropractic, and MPK. Participants are encouraged to register online in advance, with on-site registration available. The Freedom Run fosters community spirit and promotes fitness, while simultaneously supporting local initiatives through charitable donations.
