Epidavrios Dromos – Half Marathon

Epidavrios Dromos – Theater 2 Theater athletes are invited to embrace a distinctive challenge with the “Epidavrios Dromos, 21 km” race, a unique blend of culture and athletics. This course connects the Small Theater of Ancient Epidaurus with the Grand Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, offering a route steeped in history. Starting at the Small Theater of Epidaurus, runners pass by the iconic harbor of Ancient Epidaurus, traverse an ancient trail toward Ligourio, dash through its cobbled streets, and surge through the community’s central square to reach the finish line at the Ancient Stadium of the Asklepion in Epidaurus.The “Epidavrios Dromos 21km” welcomes both professional and amateur athletes who are driven by the excitement of racing through one of Greece’s rich historical and cultural landscapes. Race through stunning environments that are not only significant in the Peloponnese but resonate with Greece’s global heritage, set against the natural beauty near Athens and other historical marvels.All participants will cross the finish line at the Ancient Stadium of the Asklepion in Epidaurus.
