The Göteborgsvarvet Marathon is a one-of-a-kind opportunity, allowing you to traverse the closed roads and city center of one of Scandinavia’s most picturesque and lively cities.
The course is stunning and divided into two distinct, enjoyable loops. The first follows the traditional Half Marathon route along the Göta River, through the harbor and the renowned shipyard. The second is an exploration of new terrain on the closed roads of the downtown area, along broad, gorgeous boulevards lined with supporters, before heading back to the finish line.
