Niue Marathon

The Niue Marathon is an event held near Alofi, Niue, accessible by a 3 1/2-hour flight from Auckland, New Zealand, crossing the international dateline. The race route, often consisting of loops, is finalized upon the team’s arrival. Based at Scenic Matavai Resort, registration is free, eliminating T-shirts or finisher awards. Participants must sign a release, wear a timing device, and confirm their finish times with officials. A generous cut-off time allows ample completion, with the run being self-supported, offering a single aid station at the start/finish. Registration includes entry to another marathon in Vanuatu.
