ABOUT GRACE ISLAND AND WHY WE ARE RAISING FUNDS
Grace Island opened in August 2000 and was the property of the Grace Island Foundation, whose chairman was businessman Fernance Perry. Fernance and his wife Janice agreed to dedicate the island to God, deciding it could be used for youth camps and other Christian purposes.
After two years of construction and landscaping work, Grace Island has proven itself to be a quality campsite used by many churches, schools, and youth organizations for over 20 years. 
In 2018, the Grace Island Foundation and Perry family transferred ownership of the island to Word of Life Bermuda, who are committed to continuing their dream of quality youth camping on Grace Island. Word of Life Bermuda, a local charity, now offers this quality rental facility for local and international groups year-round. 
Word of Life Bermuda gave Grace Island a major upgrade, building cabins to replace tents, an enlarged pavilion, and a 130-foot waterslide. We look forward to serving organizations and families with these new and improved amenities.
All funds raised via this initiative will go towards the upgrades to Grace Island.
