The Moreno Valley Road Runners Club is Southern California’s most exciting race. The money from this run will help our running club and future day events.Event details and scheduleMoreno Valley Road Runners Club will be celebrating our 1st Annual Southern 1/2 Marathon run at Lake Perris State Recreation Area Dam 17801 Lake Perris Drive Perris, Ca 92571. On July 20, 2024, at 7:00 am. What: Don’t miss Southern California’s fun run tradition! Everyone is welcome! Where: Enjoy a historic course along the Dam, referred to as The Lake Perris Dam. You’ll pass by such a notable lake. What a great way to see the beautiful lake in the morning. Course: The race starts and finishes at the Dam. This is a flat long course with no traffic. When: July 20, 2024. Packet picks up open at 6:30 Am. Arrive early! Race Start Times: 1/2 Marathon kicks off at 7:00 am  Awards: Cash Prize Top 3 Female and Male  1st place $150.00 Trophy 2nd Place $100.00 Trophy 3rd Place $50.00 Trophy 4th to 10th place Trophy Giving away: Medals to all participants in the 1/2 marathon.  Fees: $50.00 for the 1/2 marathon  For more information, please contact race Director Henry at [email protected] or via text at 951-396-5896

Originating as the Lake Guntersville race, it has transitioned over the years to what is now a much-loved course through scenic downtown Guntersville and alongside Lake Guntersville. Hosted by the City of Guntersville Recreation Department, the event features both accredited courses, gaining recognition for their fast, all-paved tracks that present minimal elevation challenges. Participants receive race packets with T-shirts and goodies upon entry, and top finishers earn prestigious trophies and medals.
