Discover the beauty of Australia’s most iconic city at the spectacular Sydney Marathon.The Sydney Marathon is the seventh race to join the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors series, taking its place alongside renowned marathons such as London, Tokyo, and New York. This unmissable event is designed to impress, with a route that takes runners across the world-famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and finishes at the distinctive Sydney Opera HouseApplication to the 2025 edition of the Sydney Marathon is held through a general ballot which is open from 10:00 AM (AEDT) on 10 December until 11:59 PM (AEDT) on 30 December. Applications will be entered into a random draw and successful applicants will be notified between 8-9 January 2025 (AEDT).
