Welcome to the Douro Verde Half Marathon in Baião, Portugal. This 21km race, organized by the Ribadouro Nautical Club, EVENTSPORT and PORTOCARGO Runners, aims to promote health and quality of life through sports. Participants also have the option of a 10km walk through the lush green landscapes of Baião. Known for its natural beauty, Baião is home to stunning sights such as Serra da Aboboreira, Serra do Marão, the Serra do Castelo de Matos, and the Douro, Teixeira, and Ovil rivers.
