Sibenik 10K Race

In honor of the late Dražen Petrović, a celebrated athlete from Šibenik, the city celebrates his birthday in late October by organizing the Šibenik Race. This event is comprised of two laps of five kilometers, with an additional 4km race in remembrance of the number four that Dražen wore on his Šibenik and national team jerseys. The route of the race starts on the Šibenik waterfront, on Pavle Šubić Square, and passes by the iconic Baldekin and Dražen’s monument. As usual, the race will be supported by HEP, the Croatian energy supplier, making Šibenik the first European electrified city. This event serves to remind us of Dražen’s greatness and his exemplary work ethic.
