South Mountain 5k, 10k and Fun Run

The endurance event traditionally held in Morganton, NC, will now take place at Valdese Lakeside Park. Parking is arranged at Draughn High School, with a short commute to the race registration area. The unpaved and narrow trail is unsuitable for strollers or pets. The event supports South Mountain Baptist Camp, aiming to nurture spiritual growth through nature and help make camp affordable. By participating as a runner, walker, volunteer, or supporter, you contribute to keeping the camp accessible while celebrating the meaningful experiences it offers to its attendees.
