The Hachie 50 is a community-driven event organized by the Waxahachie and Midlothian Running Clubs in collaboration with the Waxahachie Lions Club. The event supports local children and schools in Ellis County. It takes place in Waxahachie’s Getzendaner Park, featuring a predominantly concrete course surrounded by trees. Participants receive custom t-shirts, unique medals, online race photos, and an assortment of food and drinks. Awards acknowledge top individual performers and relay teams. The Waxahachie Running Club, known for fostering inclusive running and walking activities, orchestrates the event, bringing together participants of all levels for camaraderie and competition.
