YMCA Sandbar Half Marathon/5K
The Englewood YMCA will be hosting its annual Half Marathon & 5K event, taking place on the picturesque Manasota Key in Florida. Runners can look forward to a scenic route with minimal turns and plenty of shade from the tree canopy. The race will start and finish at the South Beach Parking Lot, offering a unique running experience along Beach Road. Advanced registration is required, with no race day sign-ups available. Participants will receive finisher medals, race shirts, and complimentary refreshments at The Sand Bar Tiki & Grille. Live music and age group awards will also be part of the event. Remember to carpool as the road will be open to traffic.
